Synopsis: This film follows Richard Karlsen, golden-boy athlete and undisputed alpha-male of his privileged set of South Dublin teenagers, through the summer between the end of school and the beginning of university. The world is bright and everything seems possible, until in one furious, reckless moment Richard does something that destroys it all and shatters the lives of the people closest to him.

Lenny Abrahamson: Lenny Abrahamson (1966) is an Irish screenwriter and director. He studied at Trinity College in Dublin and at Stanford University in California. As a director he shot the short film 3Joes (1991), which was successful at many festivals. In feature-length format he successfully debuted with Adam & Paul (2004), and further made Garage (2007) among others. He's also involved in advertising and TV productions.
