Synopsis: The film renders the life of a young generation of artists formed during the middle of the war. Anabella - a beautiful young girl meets the company of friends and becomes the object of their dreams and desires. The artists, charmed by the magic about her do not notice her sadness which leads her to a tragic end.
Štefan Uher: Štefan Uher (1930-1993) was a Slovak director and screenwriter. After graduating from FAMU he worked at the Bratislava Studio of Documentary Films, then at Studio Hraných Filmů. He began with documentaries. In feature film he worked together in particular with Alfonz Bednár and Stanislav Szomolányi. He debuted with The Sun in a Net (Slnko v sieti, 1962). Among his other works: The Organ (Organ, 1964), The Curator of Outdoor Museum (Správca skanzenu, 1988).
