Synopsis: A tragicomedy about a bachelor, emotionally presenting the life of people living on the periphery of society.
Dušan Hanák: Dušan Hanák (1938) is a significant figure in Slovak film. He graduated in directing from FAMU then worked at Studio Krátkého Filmu. He debuted with the film 322 (1969), which was banned after its release, as were the following of Hanák's films: documentary Pictures of the Old World (Obrazy starého sveta, 1972) and the drama I Love, You Love (Ja milujem, ty miluješ, 1980). Among his other films: Quiet Happiness (Tichá radosť, 1985), Paper Heads (Papierové hlavy, 1995).
